YOGA
The beautiful practice where this body of work began, where βOneβ originated, yoga planted the seeds for all that is to follow with my offerings, with this quest of spreading homecoming and gentle healing. Yoga is the discipline that gracefully changed the trajectory of my life. A way of life that began my own journey of homecoming.
That is what this practice is to me - homecoming - a means through which we can return to our bodies, to our hearts, to ourselves.
Yoga found me at a time in my life when I needed it the most, and since has been a constant companion through lifeβs ebs and flows. A steady anchor amidst the storms, a constant guide back to integrity and to self; mind, body, soul.
It is with the deepest gratitude and reverence that I share this practice.
With over 650 hours of training (and counting!), and with a dedication to a lifetime of further study and practice, I humbly pass on the ever evolving tapestry of teachings that have guided me home to myself time and time again, always with the deepest respect for its lineage and years of accumulated wisdom.
A guiding force in the classes I share is the deep fascination I hold towards the wisdom of our bodies and our ability to know ourselves deeply. Every practice I share is trauma informed, with a focus on embodiment, somatic exercises and nervous system regulation which honours your unique, fluctuating being - no shape to βachieveβ or destination to reach - simple, held presence only, with the promise to meet and honour whichever version of you shows up on the mat on that day, that practice.
My style of teaching is intuitive and deeply embodying, I always strive to celebrate our bodies ever fluctuating states and believe that when we tune into our own inner and outer seasons we can connect more deeply with ourselves. Honouring our bodies cycles returns us home to the ease and wholeness that has always been within, but that can sometimes get lost amidst the noise and expectations of everyday life. This sense of innate wholeness is a teaching at the core of every space I hold - a remembrance of who you were before the world told you what to become, before your innate wholeness felt faded by lifeβs experiences. This is the return home - a path I hope to walk alongside you in the journey home.
My promise to you is to always meet you exactly as you are, and to celebrate and honour your ever changing being each time you step onto your mat. I hope to nurture a safe haven for you to simply be, to shift away from how something looks, into how it feels instead. Away from fear of judgement and into the safety of exploration. Away from doing and instead, returning to simply being.
I hope to see you on the mat soon.
With love,
Meg.

A weekly moment to unravel and rebuild - returning to centre and resting deeply in your wholeness. Always trauma informed, this class includes a series of Yin Asanas with a focus on embodiment, somatic exercises and nervous system regulation techniques which honour your unique, fluctuating being - no shape to βachieveβ or destination to reach - simple, held presence only, with the promise to meet and honour whichever version of you shows up on the mat, that day, that practice. Each practice ends in an extended Savasana with the option for mini massages with essential oils for those that crave this form of TLC, always guided by the consent cards at the top of your mat.

A beautiful mix of yin yoga, somatic practices and nervous system regulation techniques - medicine for your mind, body and nervous system. As with all spaces I hold, Restorative Yoga will always meet you exactly as you are. An hour for you to simply be, to surrender into gentle stillness and deep, soft rest. Weβll move through a series of gentle yin asanas thatβll guide you into deep relaxation. Weβll use lots of props to get you feeling held and supported before resting in stillness in each posture. There will be the option for gentle assists and adjustments & mini massages - these are never in attempt to fix or alter, but instead, an offering to be held, to be gently guided towards finding more space and softening and to feel the loving support from another human. There will always be a consent card at the top of your mat, you get to opt in and out of this depending on the medicine you need that day, that practice. These classes are an hour for you to simply be. Weβll always end in an extended savasana allowing you to integrate and to fully surrender into deep rest. A deeply embodying and intuitive practice - the perfect end to the day.

A beautiful blend of breath and movement. This class seeks a moving meditative state and offers a balance of both challenge and the opportunity to find rest and ease. Weβll move fluidly between each posture, moving with the breath and sinking deeply into an embodied flow. As the class reaches its peak we begin to slow it down again towards restorative yin yoga, finding gentle stillness in long held yin asanas. We end in an extended Savasana, final rest where we can incorporate sound healing with the gentle frequencies of Tibetan Singing Bowls and/or mini massages with essential oils for those that wish to receive this form of TLC. Flow and Unwind aims to empower both your physical body and support your mental wellbeing. I hope to guide you towards leaving your mat with a deep sense of inner strength, knowing, and grounded peace.

Perhaps one of the most liminal seasons of life. These sessions will tenderly hold you on a mind, body soul level whilst you transition into motherhood. These sessions evolve as you move through the different trimesters. Each session is carefully curated to support your body for each stage of your pregnancy, we journey from strengthening to surrender, beginning with empowering movement at the beginning, towards birth preparation nearer the end. The structure of our practices will combine empowerment and restoration with time and space for both the yin and yang energy necessary for birth and beyond.

Perhaps one of the most tender seasons of life. These practices evolve with you and your own healing journey/process after birth. Entirely tailored to you and what you and your little one need. This space is for you, to be held and looked after whilst youβre holding so much new life. On a mental and energetic level we work to restore and fill your cup. On a physical level we can work together on gentle, loving body rehabilitation. If you chose to do so we can combine information gathered by a Mummy MOT examination sourced through the brilliant womenβs health physio at The Boxgrove Clinic, who, if you consent can handover your unique needs which we can then create a βtreatment planβ of rehabilitation together through gentle practices and soothing yoga. 1:1 sessions are equipped to hold you and your little one tenderly, or you are of course welcome to come on your own if that is what you need instead. I also run Mum&Baby yoga classes and can offer private classes for friend groups/nct groups etc too.

I deeply believe we are not meant to do life alone. Our retreats are moments to gather and to remember we are not alone. To be surrounded and held by and in community. And to offer yourselves checkpoints throughout the year of selfcare and deep rest. Mornings/days/weeks where there is nowhere else for you to be and nothing else for you to do. We have regular seasonal βYoga & Brunchβsβ - Iβd love to have you there if you fancy it. Details are sent out to our newsletter and can be found on my instagram too: @onewithmeg.m

SOUND HEALINGIf you feel called towards this form of medicine, we can gently work together in incorporating healing sound into our practices. This may include - the gentle hum of Tibetan Singing bowls which work with specific Chakras according to their respective frequencies, the ethereal long lasting notes of the crystal bowl chalice, gentle wind chimes (again, chakra specific), soothing sea drums and carefully curated playlists.
As with all offerings, it is there for those that crave it and can be left for those that donβt.
At the time of writing this, healing sound is an addition to our 1':1βs & classes and has not yet found form as full immersive sound bath sessions.
MINI MASSAGESIn every practice we share there is a consent card at the top of your mat.
At the beginning of each class I invite you to check in with yourself, to choose which side of the consent cards youβd like to land in for that practice - yes or no - hands on touch or to be given space .
These assists are never an attempt to fix or alter or contort - but instead, an offering to be held, to be gently guided towards more room with a wiggle, a rock or gentle pressure.
Here in this video is an insight into Savasana tlc, if this is the medicine you need itβs there for you & if itβs not it can be left.
INFRARED SAUNA To extend the magic of rest and self care you can add an infrared Sauna session to the practices you book.
With many health benefits, the combination of Sauna & Yoga can compound the medicine of practice. One of our favourite ways to experience this is through a βSauna & Stretchβ package.
