YOGA

The beautiful practice where this body of work began, where β€˜One’ originated, yoga planted the seeds for all that is to follow with my offerings, with this quest of spreading homecoming and gentle healing. Yoga is the discipline that gracefully changed the trajectory of my life. A way of life that began my own journey of homecoming.

That is what this practice is to me - homecoming - a means through which we can return to our bodies, to our hearts, to ourselves.

Yoga found me at a time in my life when I needed it the most, and since has been a constant companion through life’s ebs and flows. A steady anchor amidst the storms, a constant guide back to integrity and to self; mind, body, soul.

It is with the deepest gratitude and reverence that I share this practice.

With over 650 hours of training (and counting!), and with a dedication to a lifetime of further study and practice, I humbly pass on the ever evolving tapestry of teachings that have guided me home to myself time and time again, always with the deepest respect for its lineage and years of accumulated wisdom.

A guiding force in the classes I share is the deep fascination I hold towards the wisdom of our bodies and our ability to know ourselves deeply. Every practice I share is trauma informed, with a focus on embodiment, somatic exercises and nervous system regulation which honours your unique, fluctuating being - no shape to β€˜achieve’ or destination to reach - simple, held presence only, with the promise to meet and honour whichever version of you shows up on the mat on that day, that practice.

My style of teaching is intuitive and deeply embodying, I always strive to celebrate our bodies ever fluctuating states and believe that when we tune into our own inner and outer seasons we can connect more deeply with ourselves. Honouring our bodies cycles returns us home to the ease and wholeness that has always been within, but that can sometimes get lost amidst the noise and expectations of everyday life. This sense of innate wholeness is a teaching at the core of every space I hold - a remembrance of who you were before the world told you what to become, before your innate wholeness felt faded by life’s experiences. This is the return home - a path I hope to walk alongside you in the journey home.

My promise to you is to always meet you exactly as you are, and to celebrate and honour your ever changing being each time you step onto your mat. I hope to nurture a safe haven for you to simply be, to shift away from how something looks, into how it feels instead. Away from fear of judgement and into the safety of exploration. Away from doing and instead, returning to simply being.

I hope to see you on the mat soon.

With  love,

Meg.

SOUND HEALING

If you feel called towards this form of medicine, we can gently work together in incorporating healing sound into our practices. This may include - the gentle hum of Tibetan Singing bowls which work with specific Chakras according to their respective frequencies, the ethereal long lasting notes of the crystal bowl chalice, gentle wind chimes (again, chakra specific), soothing sea drums and carefully curated playlists.

As with all offerings, it is there for those that crave it and can be left for those that don’t.

At the time of writing this, healing sound is an addition to our 1':1’s & classes and has not yet found form as full immersive sound bath sessions.

MINI MASSAGES

In every practice we share there is a consent card at the top of your mat.

At the beginning of each class I invite you to check in with yourself, to choose which side of the consent cards you’d like to land in for that practice - yes or no - hands on touch or to be given space .

These assists are never an attempt to fix or alter or contort - but instead, an offering to be held, to be gently guided towards more room with a wiggle, a rock or gentle pressure.

Here in this video is an insight into Savasana tlc, if this is the medicine you need it’s there for you & if it’s not it can be left.

INFRARED SAUNA

To extend the magic of rest and self care you can add an infrared Sauna session to the practices you book.

With many health benefits, the combination of Sauna & Yoga can compound the medicine of practice. One of our favourite ways to experience this is through a β€˜Sauna & Stretch’ package.

Situated in The Boxgrove Clinic (next door to the studio) - more details can be found on their website below.
